Cooper Turns 2 – Frisco, TX Photographer

I’ve been taking Cooper’s pictures for a year! I was super excited when his mom contacted me about his 2nd year birthday pictures! I always have such a great time with this little one!  He’s a cutie and has such a fun personality!

Cooper’s dad is an avid fisherman. Knowing how much Cooper and his family enjoy fishing I thought a fishing themed shoot would be right up little Coop’s alley! Once we nailed down a theme for the shoot I headed out to find the perfect little pond for our session. After texting pond pictures (gotta love smart phones) back and forth to Cooper’s mom we decided on quaint little pond that had a pretty rock waterfall. It’s smack-dab in the middle of hotels, shopping centers, and office buildings but you would never know it!

Love that Cooper’s mom contacted me several months in advance about Cooper’s session. It’s always best to get your date locked in the second you start thinking about having pictures taken! It allows for more time for you to work with your photographer and gives your photographer more time to develop an idea and direction for your session! Fall is right around the corner and my calendar is filling up fast! Cooper fished with real worms and wasn’t in the slightest bit afraid to touch them!

I got to break in my new rain boots! They have a really cute yellow buckle on the side.
I’m a sucker for anything black and yellow as you can tell!

 

 

Cooper’s mom rolled up her jeans and got in the mud during Cooper’s shoot! Dallas was going through storm frenzy the week of Cooper’s session.
There was mud and puddles all over the place. By the end of the shoot my pants we soaked and I had mud all over me but getting dirty was part of the fun!

 

 

Cooper caught a few fish!!!! I could not believe it! I didn’t even think there were fish in the little pond we shooting at.
He sure proved me wrong and not only caught 1 but several others! This little dude is an expert fisherman for sure!
